Additional Fees

Our fixed fee(s) includes the cost of the cremation process; however, there may be additional fees for any additional services or products that you choose. We will provide you with a detailed quote that includes all applicable fees before you make any decisions. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions about the costs of our services.

 

Some examples of additional fees that may incur include the following: 

Bibles
Church Altar
Giving Holy Communion
Church Pew
Church Cross

  • Doctors' fees. A doctor will be required to complete cremation paperwork before we bring your loved one back into the care of our funeral home. (If death takes place in a Hospital or Hospice) The cost is £82.00. If there is any involvement with Her Majesty's Coroner (HMC), the above fees will not apply.

  • Removal of the deceased by a third-party Funeral Director. - £250.00 Estimated.

  • The removal of a pacemaker, ensuring safe clinical disposal - £75.00

  • Where bariatric (obese) factors are present, causing additional or unusual requirements, we reserve the right to either decline or withdraw our services at any time and make additional charges when necessary. These charges may cover essential other personnel or special equipment, or the additional costs of an oversize coffin (over 6ft 2in x 22in )

  • Return of cremated remains/ashes casket - either hand delivered or via courier service.
